Después de cinco años de vida renovamos nuestro compromiso de difundir la cultura fotográfica y de establecer caminos para el intercambio de la información y el conocimiento. Hemos decidido cambiar todo nuestro software para hacer más accesible nuestro sitio en muchos aspectos que para nuestros suscriptores y visitantes pasarán inadvertidos, pero que mejorarán su visita a nuestra página.

Hemos incorporado una nueva sección con el título Especial ADF-PHOTO que responde a la petición de las propias galerías, museos, instituciones y entidades que quieren publicitar sus actividades en la comunidad de visitantes de nuestro sitio web. Una comunidad que ya alcanza los 1300 suscriptores especializados o interesados en fotografía a lo largo de todo el mundo (galerías, museos, centros e instituciones, comisarios y críticos, festivales, medios de comunicación y sitios web).

Nuestra información sigue siendo directa a la noticia, sin un gran despliegue de texto. Nunca hemos querido hacer un magazine o un tablón de anuncios informativo, por eso llevamos cinco años haciendo una selección internacional de las exposiciones y noticias que creemos son más importantes para la comunidad interesada en la cultura fotográfica y también llevamos el mismo tiempo haciendo exposiciones, en nuestra Galería Virtual, de los autores cuya obra nos parece más sugerente y atractiva.

No disponemos de ninguna ayuda económica pública o privada ni tan siquiera comercial. Sólo recibimos la contraprestación de quien nos contrata para realizar exposiciones o actividades relacionadas con la imagen fotográfica o, como ahora en nuestra nueva sección, quien quiere publicitar su entidad entre nuestros suscriptores.

Existimos gracias al esfuerzo personal de nosotros mismos y a la atención de todos ustedes que nos visitan. Nuestro sitio web es un compromiso de libertad de información en donde no cabe ninguna restricción ni imposición. Ofrecemos nuestro punto de vista al seleccionar las noticias y compartir con todos ustedes el acceso inmediato a esa información.

After five years of life we renovate our commitment of transmitting the photographic culture, and establishing ways for the information and knowledge exchange. We have decided to change all our software to make our site more accessible in many ways, maybe imperceptible for our subscribers and visitors, but they will soon realise that their visits improve.

We have incorporated a new section titled AdfPhoto Special that responds to the petitions of galleries, museums, institutions and entities that want their activities to be advertised among the visitors of our web site. A community that reaches now the amount of 1300 specialized or interested in photography subscribers around the world: galleries, museums, centers and institutions, curators and critics, festivals, media and web sites.

Our information keeps being direct to the news, without a great text upfolding. We have never wanted to make a magazine or a notice board; for that reason, during these five years, we have been making an international selection of the exhibitions and news that we believe more important for the community interested in photographic culture. During the same time, we have also been making exhibitions in our On Line Gallery, with the authors whose work we consider richer in ideas and attractive.

We do not have public or private subvention or commercial aid. We only receive payment from those who hire our services to carry out exhibitions or activities related to the photographic image, or from those who want to make publicity of their entity among subscribers in our new section.

We exist thanks to our personal effort and thanks to the attention you pay us by visiting our site. This is a commitment with the freedom of information, where no restrictions or impositions fit. We offer our point of view by selecting news and sharing the inmediate access to them with you.
